Busy, busy weekend!

This weekend was very busy, with my being invited to a workshop, as a guest of honor, run by the famous Ron Covell, the Master metalworking guru (some of you may have seen his videos). The two-day workshop included making a '36 Ford-style rear fender from scratch (nothing but flat sheet metal), as well as excellent camaraderie with all the other attendees. But, that was only the beginning; Today, Ron Covell, along with his Host for the workshop, Mike Casey (Enigma Rod Shop), and another key figure in the workshop, paid a somewhat lengthy visit to my shop today, for a tour of my humble facilities! There was lots for him to see. There was lots of product in process; things that a man of his talent and reputation hadn't seen before! The session was very informative for all concerned, and I felt very honored to have this world-famous person traipsing through my ever-so-humble facilities! Hey, John O'Leary and I even swept the floor in preparation for his visit! It was a weekend that I won't soon forget! Dave Maher
