monarch road machinery pump need help.

I have pulled a pulley driven hydraulic pump off of a '58 PW with monarch road machinery tag on it. serial #1253, model A168. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for info on this pump. It appears that it still pumps fluid but before I try and rebuild it to spec I would like a starting point. The unit looks to be a self contained add on with the fluid resivoir attached to the small pump driven by a belt off the engine. any info would be greatly appreciated.
