Well, I don't know. Most of the kids these days just have one mother, and maybe a random man or two who pops in every now and then and may or may not be related to them. The "two mom" thing is something for the city people to argue about. It's not going to help all these kids who have one mom and no dad, and are sucking on soda pop and playing video games all the time because their mom's afraid to let them do dangerous things outside.
In the one "two mom" family I knew, the kids' actual mother did the typical mother thing and let the kids do whatever they wanted, while her partner was the one who cracked the whip and made them do their chores and their homework and asked them all about how school was going. Strangely enough, the kids did what she said and liked her. Maybe they actually wanted somebody to act like an adult and tell them what to do.
