One of the problem with 230 parts...& Power Wagon parts in general, is that there's a lot of very old stock floating around. A rubber diaphragm isn't going to fair very well if it's already 30+ years old.
That's my guess anyway. They all work on the same principal & there's no reason for a 230 diaphragm to fail any sooner than one on a 350 Chev.
