This whole thing we are seeing, now with Chrysler and perhaps GM going down the tubes in the aftermath of the economic trouble is really frustrating, becasuse the people who are supposed to have regulated the banks and mortgage institutions, the Congress, did not do their jobs.
But, do you think they would be held accountable?
Barney Frank, Chris Dodd and others in Congress as well as Bill Clinton and the Community Development Act he pushed under his administration, all have their fingerprints all over the sub-prime melt down that was the root cause of the problem, and not one of them will take any responsibility for it.
There is no justice there.
