Glad you had better luck with Sears than I've had. Maybe they learned their lesson.
I've still got my dad's Sears socket sets (with 1/2" breaker bar) from the early '50s, and use it regularly, but I don't abuse it because guarantee or not, breaking a 50+ year old American-made tool just seems wrong.
It seems to me a 1/2" breaker bar is kind of weak for Budd lug nuts. I usually have to jump on the end of the regular Budd lug wrench to the nuts loose. Even a 3/4" impact wrench is too light most of the time.
