Correct, NAFTA was voted on, and it ONLY covered Canada, America, and Mexico.
It did not cover the rest of the world.
Allowing other country's goods across the border when they pay their workers thirty cents a day, while intentionally manipulating their currency to artificially hold down it's value, with the intent of destroying markets is going to far.
And they're being allowed to do it because they are the ones financing the American govt's out of control spending habit.
The politicians are so afraid of them not buying our debt, that they are willing to say or do anything to keep the flow of fake money moving...
I have disagree regarding it being forced upon us. I feel it is, and it's being done by allowing the chinese (and other countries) to target whole markets and then dump their products at a financial loss (backed by their govt) with the sole intent of destroying our domestic production.
All the while with our politician saying how much they want to change things...
The only change that needed is a thick rope and some tall trees....
