Walmart is a huge success because they sell cheap crap and everyone buys it. They are the armpit of the universe. They also tell companies what they will pay for an item to sell. You want to sell your product at Walmart you got to get your product made as CHEAPLY as possible. That and they buy in bulk so they get even more discounts on prices.
Big Smith Overalls......used to buy them. Get a year or so out of a pair at work. Suddenly 3 weeks after I would buy a new pair the cheap pot metal clips on the shoulder straps would break. WTF? Price of the everalls didnt go down?! They started getting them made overseas and the quality went down the tubes. Price didnt go down? So I am not demanding CHEAP there. If we are demanding cheap then that 25$ pair of Big Smith overalls should now be 8$.
Congrats on your speakers. There always has and will be a special area in probably every type of product where high end quality will exist. We all used to be able to pick up decent electronic products and expect them to last for a while. Not anymore. We can thank the Clinton era for that. I forget the name but he signed something that no longer required companys to build products with a certain life expectancy. Or that they had to carry replacement parts for a certain time. Our 1 year or more warrantys sudden went to 90 days and if something broke after that you couldnt get it fixed because they no longer carried spare parts because it was an obsolete model. You buy a Model A tv today and a Model A tv 6 months from now they may look alike on the outside but they are different inside. One is obsolete and no longer has spare parts being made for a repair. Buy a 800$ plasma or LCD tv and 5 months later it blows up and the repair place cant fix it because it obsolete. 800$ tv 15-20 years ago wasnt that way.
I dont thnk NA is demanding cheap we have just had it shoved onto us. Cheap as in quality not price.
You watch! Vise grips wont be worth a crap but the price will be the same!
