Work on getting out of debt and stay out of debt."Victory Gardens", canning, using less. Learning to save. And their is a learning curve on that. Learning about investing. You all have computers. Compute some compound intrest at x dollars a month over x number of years with different of percentages. See how the money grows. I was brought up pretty poor. Those memories stick with you. I'm not saying it's going to be easy.
