The psychedelic kind?
I had a friend in Washington state years ago, an older gentleman, who was, in reality, born about 100 years too late. He was very into the native Indian culture and lore. He was an accomplished artist, making fantastic charcoal or pen and ink sketches as well as water color paintings. Anyway, he used to eat a mushroom that was, depending on the reaction, either psychedelic or fatal to the consumer. It seems as though just the right amount would send you on a trip and a little too much was deadly. I never tried eating his mushrooms, but I certainly enjoyed hearing about the great life he had lived. The biggest deterrent to sharing his mushrooms was when he told me the only antidote for them was an undertaker. This was 40 years ago, and he was in his 70s then. His name was Waldo Chase. Google has some interesting facts on his life. He never drove, but if he did, I know it would have been a Power Wagon.
