FFPW factory intermittant wipers

Broke out the '51 for the year and took the wife for a cruise on some hilly roads when it started to barely sprinkle. I don't know why Paul from NY is trying to improve on the vacuum wiper design as they worked as perfect intermittant wipers just when I needed them. The wife still cannot fathom why we love these trucks. The drive was theraptic to me. I don't know how she can spend a day off in a mall to shop either so I guess we are both even. Anyone else have a better half that doesn't understand?
