i need to be corrected more and more these days seems memory is the first to go But heres some numbers that i clearly remember > the RD 450 and 501 were gas engines in international trucks then cummins had the 740 someting inline 6 140 hp > next came the N 855 cubic inch and they were in the 250 hp range > along came NTC still 855cu in but turbo in late 60s early seventys that engine was turbo charged up to 335 hp (which was a very popular engine)in its time >by the seventys the 350hp aftercooled 855 block by 80s and the same 855 engine was rated at 400 hp > next inline for big power was the cummins KD 450 $ K 500 respectivly 450 and 500 horse power late 70s and 80s> the were the Vs and VTs some from 6 clyinder @120 hp all the way 400 ? hp > i rememder the Cs which was competion for for the CAT 3208s > SO i cant seem to remember ever seeing 300 horse power that far back in time and of course i could be wrong again, but very willing to change my opinion if told so > i googled that mill and found nothing that far back so i am open to whooping on this ~ Copey
