Here is a link to an excellent DVD by Kevin Tetz who is the host for Trucks the TV show. http://paintucation.com/ I have his package of 4 DVD's that explains everything in detail on bodywork, painting and detailing. To "clay" a vehicle is to use a clay bar to pull all the fine dirt from the surface. I did this to my 01 3500 and it really works well in getting to surface clean before you polish or even wax. Use as directed and you'll have a better looking job. It's amazing how much comes off that you can't see on the paint. It takes a lot of elbow grease though but it's worth it.
