I want to try to wake up some every old paint jobs on some of my trucks from the 60's with plain enamel paint, I have a couple of newer Dodge Rams from the 2000's years, what kind and size of variable speed polisher should I buy and what kind of material and pads etc etc should I use. Anybody got favorite brands and methods and links to order from??? Thanks in advance, I want to buy the best I can and not the cheapo china polisher. Btw, what does it mean to "Clay" a paint job?? I was overwhelmed with all the new stuff at the parts store yesterday. I just remember polishing out scratches with some compound in a lil can that the full service gas station (Sinclair) I worked for sold many moons ago!!!
