Use your existing glass as a pattern and send it in to have a new tempered window made so you don't see the laminate line. You must use laminate on the windshied. There are different grades of laminate based on the thickness of the plastic between the two panes. As stated by others cut both sides then pour a small amount of acetone and light. Move glass up and down to stretch the laminate, then cut with a razor blade
