In 1951 the first 600 or so trucks made used the 1946-50 style dash, and the 1946-50 style bed. After the first 600 or so the Power Wagons got the later 1951 to 1968 style gauges, so the dash changed, and they used the 1951-55 or early 1956 second series bed.
If you have the later 1951 Power Wagon that takes the 1951-55ish style bed you have a hard search ahead of you, those are pretty rare.
All the beds from 1946-68 on the WDX-WM300 style Power Wagons were 8 feet long. The 2wd trucks have beds that sometimes look a lot like the Power Wagon beds of the same era (from 1951 on at least), but they are not he same length. In 1948-55 some of the 2wd beds look the same as the 1951-55 Power Wagons, but they the closest length bed is 7 1/2 feet instead of 8 feet.
