... why wouldn't a little voltage step-up setup work here? Looks like an easy job. Input V of 0 to 12v would come out as 0 to 24v. Lots of designs on the internet, and a good electronic parts counterman could probably sell you everything you would need for a few dollars. I'm probably missing something?
