As I tried to state, the 1939 Dodge 2wd didn't have them but the 1940 - 1947 2wd trucks did as you state. Sorry for the confusion. Militarys weren't supposed to but some regular 1/2 2wd's were used that did. The 4x4's and larger trucks in 41(military versions) were not supposed to have them from the purchase order info.
