How long have you lived in Western WA? I grew up in Burien and we had many several winters when we got 3-6" of heavy wet snow after the cherry trees were in bloom, which resulted in much destruction to the trees. The snow in Wallace today is about like yours -- a couple inches of new slush. There was supposed to be a "winter storm", but I'm not seeing it.

We did get another foot last weekend so there's about 2 feet in town, and 4 feet out at my cabin (just a bit deeper than the hood of an M37). I was hoping to dig out an axle shaft and hub for the orange Tucker, but there's still way too much snow, plus my bridge is out so I'd have to wade the creek and then climb out into 4' of snow on the other side. I don't want the axle that badly. It's beginning to look like that sno-cat will be dead-lined until summer. At least the other one goes good, and at 3 mpg, I'm glad the price of gas is down.
