Well, it has been 9 months in the making, and I finally picked it up and hauled it home today. It is the ultimate Dodge Power Wagon Themed Toy Box for my son Ethan.

It is made of Burmese Teak, with hand carved lettering on both sides of the lid in the fashion of a First Series Tailgate - "ETHAN" on the outside and "DODGE" on the inside. The floor is fastened with Mar-K polished Stainless hardware. And, the inside of the box is painted with an antiqued red ala "Wilbur".

On the outside, it is a beautiful piece of furniture. On the inside, the ultimate fantasy toy hauler!! I hope that it is something that he loves and cherishes as he grows older. I may not have the skills to build such a piece myself, but I poured my creative energy into dreaming it up!!

I have ordered some safety closers for the lid and then it will be complete.
