but is so worth it in the end. I have done seven frame-ups on Power Wagons and am working on the eighth one now. I did this on each one, and with no regret. Taking them apart and painting, even if it's just Rustoleum, will bring you closer to knowing your vehicle and what you have into it. It is a labor of love, but it also gives you chance to really inspect what is going on with your suspension. I always put a real thin line of grease in betwean each leaf. It can be a bit messy, but makes for a little smoother and quieter ride, if you can believe that. Its the same old question of "how far do I want to go?" I have also been thankful on occasions where I would find a broken or cracked one. less trouble later....
