I had my booth set up at a Home Show this weekend to promote my Remodeling business. I was not sure there was going to be any one there but the other Venders.
Saturday opened with a good steady crowd of people and stayed steady until about 4:00 when it usually tapers off. Sunday was about the same. I had a lot of good solid conversations with folks discussing the projects they are planning for the summer. I have been doing Home Shows for about 14 years now and can get a pretty good feel for when someone is just fantasizing about their new kitchen or addition. There are always a bunch of them, including this weekend, but there were many that were serious. Of course it is now up to them to proceed, but I, and the other Remodelers at the show were all very encouraged that these folks had started to poke their heads from out of their shells.
Things will improve.
