My buddy has a mid-fifties PW in Morgantown, WV just south of the Mason-Dixon line. He recently got a sweet M-37 and wants to sell the PW. It has a decent cab. The seam above the windshield was repaired poorly and mice pissed in the wiper moter header panel like thet always do. The front of the frame is cracked from overloading an A frame boom, and has been "repaired". He paid a little too much for it, drove it around town and then disassembled the bed, which was very serviceable with a steel floor, but is now just a bunch of pieces. It has a good running Plymouth engine, 12-volt electrics, and has been stored indoors for the last five years or so. I think he would be willing to make you a deal in the $1500-$2500 range but that's between you and him. I have a trailer and can help pick it up and deliver. Email me and I can send you a bunch of pictures.

If you need to build a truck from scratch, there is a decent chassis with drivetrain in VA for $200 on ebay. I have a bunch of parts that could help you. I also know a guy with a bunch of useable parts in Tarentum. Bottom line - If you have a little money and are willing and able to do alot of work, my friends and I can help you cobble together a truck. Otherwise, keep looking and keep saving. One will turn up.
