I have piles of stuff that I thought was a deal when I bought it and would be easy to sell, that turned out either it needed work and haven't gotten around to it yet, or nobody wanted it as badly as I did. I don't know what way the economy is going but one thing for sure is you have less potential buyers now than a year ago. There might be one guy out there who wants one of those rigs real bad and still has some spare cash, but you're going to have to find him. The resale prices you mentioned didn't jump out at me as being screaming deals, but I'm no expert.

Bottom line if you like the trucks and can afford to keep them for the duration, have a place to store them, etc, and you think you're being offered a good deal, go for it, but I wouldn't count on retailing them any time soon. On the other hand, if talking about reselling them is what it takes to get your wife to let you buy them, I guess that's between you, your conscience, and her.
