Ford GTB bomb service truck. This truck was purchased surplus from Bainbridge Naval Training Center after WWII and used at a sawmill. Good condition front sheet metal, fair condition outer windshield. This truck is equipped with 11.00 X 18 combat rims, single rears, and has 1943 Desert tires that still hold air- these are same as used on GMC DUKW. Bomb rail in good shape. Winch present. Good starter project that will make a decent motor-pool restoration.
Missing items: radiator, engine, transfer case, top bow, seats, gas tank, winch drive shaft, chain fall and trolley, trolley winch.
Project price $800.00. Truck is located near Baltimore, near the Maryland/Pennsylvania Line. If the whole project doesn't sell by April 1st 2009, I will part it out. If you pay for the parts, I can deliver them to Aberdeen MD Show for no charge.
