My thought is if a thief steals a gun off a cop and he doesn't report it in time is he liable for the damage caused?
A family friend had a cop come to his residence to fill out a report on his son's accident. Cop's foot slipped off brake and hit the gas and rammed his garage. I didn't know it but according to them, cops, firefighters and ambulances don't carry insurance and if they hit you, EVEN IF IT'S THEIR FAULT, your out of luck and your insurance pays.
Never ceases to amaze me how they can't enforce the current laws for the criminal element so they tighten the strings on the "sheep" aka you and me.
