I think 8 it great for a gasser towing that streamline aerodynamic load. ;/) A Cummins would probably get 16 mpg but he will not be towing commercialy or that frequently so the added cost of diesel owner ship doesn't pan out for him. And he will be living in Tahoe which is PW land.
