My Book shows Model Year 2003 for GM and Dodge. If you look at a NV-4500, The shift tower will have a Bar Code Tag. On Dodges you will find a number (as an example) 52108128AE, On GM's you will find a Alpha Code (as an example) DYF or GBBW. Email me the correct numbers or Alpha code and I can tell you exactly what you have.

Output shafts and bh bolt patterns are not the same between Dodge and GM. In some cases, shafts can be changed.

As an example, The Dodge NV4500HD has a 29 spline output shaft. The Dodge NV4500 has a 23 spline output shaft. I have no idea what shaft your 80 GM, NP 205 has

If you go to the advance adapters web site
www.advancedadapters.com you can buy a NV-4500 Install/Swap guide. It has everything you will ever need to know about the GM/Dodge NV4500 series. The book only costs $10.00. If your mess'en with NV-4500's the book is a must have.
