I can't get the pic to come up but is it like a box with 2 rectangular pieces of steel that are attached with a pin to the steering shaft that allow it to slide in the box? Mounted near the steering box itself? If so, it is a problem part that Dodge dealers used to stock a rebuild kit that included the boot.

We had to replace them all on our work trucks within a year because water would follow the shaft, get past the seal and trash the insides out. If this is what you are using do yourself a favor and drill/tap a zerk fitting on the top of that box so you can grease it occasionally. I did that on those trucks and never had a problem after that.
