My guess is that they are rear doors to an older 4 door auto and open in the "suicide" manner. The door handles go along with this also. Otherwise, and less likely, they are front doors an older COE tractor cab where the doors again open in the suicide manner. This would necessitate the front axle to be riding under the seat, along with the engine.
