I may be a little off base on what you might be thinking but we took a steering box off a 1989 beauville van which has a reverse steering shaft and laid the steering box on the top of the frame with the pitman arm hooked up and welded in a mounting surface. we first mounted a steering box off a 1979 chevy 4x4 and misscalculated the direction of steer and the wheels turned opposite of what we desired. that is where we found the reverse box.the bolt holes should be facing down and once you get the plate in there then it is just bolted in.as to how the steering column hooks to yours im not sure cause we built a new steering column, but the pitman arm hooked right up.
