I've got a Putnam Metal Lathe that I use alot and the latest patent date is 1879. Must have been made in early 1900's as it came from a Cincinnati, Ohio shop that ran an overhead line shaft for power. Made in Fitchburg, Mass and if anyone has any knowledge or info on them I'd be interested to know.
