One of the most common leaks on the B series Cummins engine are the crankshaft seals. The front seal is relatively easy involving removing the fan, radiator, and front timing cover. The rear involves removal of the engine flywheel. The pan leaks do however occur but are usually related to pan damage (bent or rust through).
