I built my own. But now I'm wondering about getting water in the booster and master. Especially after hearing about how the underfloor 'factory' system was vented inside the cab, and then whoever's W500 system froze in winter due to water getting in through the cab. So I'm thinking of going to a hydro-boost.

Maybe the water issue is why even the stock systems don't last long, and later stuff has the master mounted high, rather than under the floor?

John, neat job. But I think you'll want to add a brace from the inner end of the master bracket back to the crossmember. That bracket needs to handle a ton of pressure in a panic stop. Here's the math: One of your legs is good for more than your body weight, let's say 250 pounds. The pedal leverage is about 7:1, so that's 1750. More in a superhuman panic. If you are not tearing muscles, you are not panicking. I don't know where you are in your resto, but I'll bet if you can push the pedal hard with your foot, you'll see that master bracket bend. If the truck is complete, the pedal is probable mushy due to that flex. And a boot or two at the master also?

Neat bellcrank and bracket there, you make it?
