The pic is hard to see well, but on my '52 PW, to get one of the bolts/nuts off that attched the PTO to the tranny, I had to buy a flex head hand wrench.
THese wrenches have one end open, the other end a flex head of the same size.
A flex attachment for a socket wrench was too long overall with the socket on to fit in there. A regular combination wrench did not fit well either.
