Drive shaft turns, axles don't

Still working on the Tucker I got from Jonas a couple years ago. I tried to get it unstuck from the snow that's around it and it turns out it's front wheel drive only. Last winter I broke a U-joint on the front drive shaft trying to move it when it was frozen to the ground. After replacing the U-joint I was able to drive it around on the flats a little bit, so I figured it was okay. Apparently not. The rear drive shaft spins but the tracks don't. I'm pretty sure the axles are basically dodge corporate, but with custom flanges welded onto them. I don't look forward to tearing this down to find out what happened. It looks like thee carrier assembly has to come out from the pinion end, and there's no separate cover to pull of to look at the gears. I don't know if the axles shafts are full floating and I can pull them out from the hub end or not. I'd appreciate hearing from anybody who knows how these are put together and what's most likely to break. According to the parts book, the axle shaft has a tapered, keyed outside end on it, so it might be a custom Tucker setup. I should go ask on the Tucker forum too, but figured since it's a Dodge axle, somebody here might be familiar with it. I'd rather minimize the amount of tearing down of unnecessary things if possible.
