I have read several posts about the problems with vacuum wipers and agree completely. One thing I have not seen much discussion on is a vacuum storage container. I had a Ford LTD station wagon (1968), and although it had electric wipers, it did have little vacuum controlled goodies all over. (heat/air control, heat/defroster doors, even vacuum motors on the headlight doors. Under the hood, tucked away in a fender well was what looked like a 1 gallon can which served as a storage for vacuum to help with operating these little motors. I realize it wasn't near as constant as wiper motors whould be, but I wonder if it would help? JH
