The sender in the truck looks exactly like a new one I have that's stamped "12V", and reads the same ohms when I put it in hot water of different temps, but the real reason the gauge isn't moving above "C" might be that the thermostat is missing. Why someone would remove the thermostat from a Sno-Cat is beyond me (and he did it recently because the housing was doped up with orange silicone), but hopefully all it needs is a thermostat and it'll get good and hot. I'd like to find a 180 degree one, but I have a 160 in my box and will use it if I can't get the hotter one. Then I need to figure out why the alternator isn't charging the battery, and the front tracks are spinning but the rear ones aren't.
