Hi toward the end of production the WC command car was discontinued along with the Ambulance and the carryall earlier.
Some, but not all WC51/52s came from the factory with 12 volt systems for radio use.
I have never heard of or seen a WC withtout a cowl vent. This seems kinda strange since the Civilian dodges all had them as well as the WC64 ambulance and M37.
I have looked in all my parts books, and with the exception of the WC64, i can find no record of any of the 3/4 WCs (1 1/2 6x6 also) having tube type shock.
It is possible that some were rebuilt that way. However my WC55/52 went through 3 rebuilds, US Army 1953, Fiat 1958 and West Germany 1963, the truck has data plates to show each rebuild, and still retains the lever shocks
