Norm,
The bus was caled the transporter.
The pickup was just that. It came in the single cab, 2 door, or double cab 3 door. The pickup beds had fold down sides, and very large storage areas under the bed in front of the engine bay.The fold down bed sides were removable as was the tailgate.
