umm just thinking and guessing but did you do the following set points and timing to specs some times plugged jets in carb but i would be suspecious of a vacum leak as my first guess check the carb to manifold bolts then intake if it just boggs down inciefecient fuel flow a major on theses babys keep us imformed please ~ J
