I want America to thrive.
I do not want Obama to be successful.
The two are in no way connected.
For Obama to be successful would mean that he would see his vision of a socialized America become reality. It would mean tighter gun restrictions, socialized medicine, higher taxes (in particular, he says he wants to double my capital gains taxes), he wants to creat a civilian force "as powerful as our military" (he said it, no one knows quite what it means). Obama surrounds himself with people who have a deep rooted hate for this country. His reverend preaches, "God damn America" and thinks 9/11 was America getting what it was due. I have friends who work in the Pentagon. Obama has a terrorist friend, Bill Ayers, who planted a bomb at the Pentagon. Obama knows a terrorist. I don't know any terrorists, do you? For Obama to be successful many things will have to happen to this country that I don't agree with. He plans to increase social programs, he plans to create a path to US citizenship for illegal mexicans and he plans to release terrorists who are now held at Gitmo...or at least get them good lawyers and treat them as if they were nothing more than shoplifters.
No, I don't want Obama to be successful in his many plans for this great country and I pray that America and Americans will thrive inspite of him and his liberal policies.
