I just finished building and painting a new 54 gallon fuel tank that will fit
neatly underneath my flatbed '55 PW. I figure the extra fuel will make my trip
home to Colorado a bit easier. Would it be better to plumb a line directly to
the bottom of the old tank and have the stock pump suck out of both???? Or
would it be better to mount an electric pump (dash controlled)that will pump
from out of the bottom of the big one into the top of the little one.
Can't wait to drive my baby home for its first elk hunting trip.
Now, if I can just convince the elk to stand still.
