I have a 1951 half ton Dodge civilian pick-up I may keep or may sell, have not decided. Should I decide to sell it, I would like to get an idea of how rare it is. I have heard them called Quarter window, five window, and some other terms. The body is in very good shape, no rust, needs painted. The frame is straight, has some surface rust. The man I bought it from had put a 305 with AT in, so no old type emergency brake. I put in a 1982 one half ton Dodge rear, same bolt pattern as original front that is still on the truck. The original rear is in the bed of the truck. I just had it re-wired, it has two new front tires and two good used rear tires, suitable for dolly on the interstate. The engine runs but needs some work, carb rebuilt, brakes need to be rebuilt. I would like to find out how many five window's were built, how rare they are now. I don't want to ask a fortune but I don't want to get ripped off either, if I decide to sell. Anyone that has or knows where I could get any info on how rare thes are, please let me know. If anyone can just point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. Considering selling because I just don't have time to work on it. I am in Virginia.
