We are becoming servants to words.They control what we understand by the meanings we percieve in them.When they are twisted and altered to mean different things instead of new words being constructed, our overall reasoning begins to be corrupted.Right and wrong become gray areas because the terms to describe them have become twisted and smudged without clear definition.I had once made some statements that seemed harmless but I was accused of being a racist and bigot.I began researching the two words and concluded that by the definitions given,I was neither.When I confronted these folks with the written facts,I was told that the dictionary(older) was wrong!People are being feed a steady diet of lies and misinformation and suffer from intellectual and truth malnurishment.Liberal used to be a good thing in early america,liberty being the desired effect of the word but the democrates are no longer liberal but restrictive minded.As long as support by the unmotivated masses,in the form of votes,goes to a party that promises financial support without effort or responsibility,the situation will only get worse.To quote a famous ammerican"the tree of liberty must be nurished from time to time with the blood of patriots as well as tyrants"or something close to that.
