It can be done, you will need a shorter rear driveshaft thought, because you are adding a t-case.
The conversion is a lot of work, I think your best bet is to just buy a W200 Crew Cab, and sell the rest. Then you would have a correct truck that might bring a better price upon resale, and you will be saving yourself a lot of time.
However, if the Crew Cab were exceptionally clean and had good features/options, it might be worth the trouble.
