but im not a lawyer so the probale cause to seach the truck
not sure on that since you cannot determine the reliablity of the information
but there is no problem in asking to look in the truck, espically given the circumstances
if the owner would have said no, then it would have got a little more intresting, since you can look in a truck without a warrent
that would have cleared everything up since there is not a lot of places to hide a machine gun in an old truck
on the post above about more than one officer showing up
if that would have been me I would have got out with a shot gun in hand, or had my budy cover me with one discretly
pistol does not equal machine gun, if the person that posted wants to walk up to a possible machine gun totting lunatic with a pistol

i like to go home at the end of my day so im never in a postion of being equal to or god forbid a step behind
i am alway a step ahead
big combative person= baton or pepper spay
mutiple assalints,rocks,bottles,or knives = gun
gun = bigger gun or more officers
real big gun = come back later with full auto m4 and lots of friends
not really to fond of job but pays well
and yes my computer at work has spell check
