As mentioned on the M37 forum, an un-unlockable Lockright is pathologic and may indicate either broken/jammed pins or a broken thrust washer. Any time a diff is worked on the fiber thrust washers should be replaced with metal ones, either bronze (Veteran Vehicles) or steel (Chrysler 9.25" diff parts). I find the whole thing a bit odd in that the #1210 LR was the very first one designed by none other than John Zentmeyer and therefore of all their products be completely debugged. Honestly, I wish Detroit hadn't lost the blueprints for their KS-22A WW2 Detroit Locker and I wish ARB built an air locker that would replace the carrier for the front. Air lockers work fine for manual steering applications because it's a "point, lock, go, un-lock" process.
