I put one in last fall. Very useful around our land, which is steep and rugged, a bit of a pain in parking lots.

You have to power into turns for the locker to slip. It doesn't take much throttle, but you can't be braking or decelerating, that locks the locker. It's kind of the inverse of accelelrating with a tire slipping in the mud, which also locks it. This takes a bit of getting used to, but becomes second nature after awhile. I usually let up on the gas approaching a turn to lose a bit of speed, and then accelerate (lightly in tight turns)as I turn. The M37 responds slowly enough that it's comfortable.

If that doesn't solve your problem, I'd suspect your installation.

PS Mine did come with a xerox that covered it's installation.
