It sounds like you have one of the older European two piece
light assemblies that has a "city light" in it as well as the
high/low beam light.

You might want to try susquehanna motorsports at:
http://catalog.com/susq/ for a replacement burner.

If they don't have one, send me some email and I'll pull out
my supplier information from the last Mercedes that I restored as
it had the same bulb design (1951 170S 4dr sedan...). I remember
that I got bulbs from a place in MA, but I'm at the office and
don't remember the name.

Of course, you could swap out to current production E-code
Hellas with the city lights and H4 burners for around $100.
Susquehanna has the parts, as do places like Pep Boys (but the
local guys will have to order them).
